Llwydcoed would have originally received an invitation to the Senior Cup after relegation from the Grand Shield in 2024, but have since withdrawn from all contests indefinitely.
As the 5th placed band in the 2024 Senior Trophy, Tongwynlais Temperance were subsequently invited to compete in the Senior Cup.

Pemberton Old, Milnrow, Ebbw Valley Brass and Ratby Co-operative receive an invitation to the 2026 Grand Shield contest.
Kingdom Brass, City of Cardiff (Melingriffith), City of Hull and Newtongrange Silver will be relegated to the 2026 Senior Trophy contest.
