The 1933 Eisteddfod programme lists the title of the set piece as "Old Wales" - was this the name of the movement in question? It also describes it as "specially written for this Eisteddfod", although the original date of composition was 1920. The whole Holbrooke Symphony no. 5 "Wild Wales" was written for band and "used at an Eisteddfod at Wrexham" - this must have been the event.
8 bands competed.
